Fivemiletown United Football Club is an intermediate-level football club who play in the Intermediate A division of the Mid-Ulster Football League in Northern Ireland. The club is based in Fivemiletown, County Tyrone. The club is currently managed by Stewart Dobson. The current secretary is Gary Noble. The Reserves and currently play in Fermanagh and Western Division 3. While the third team play in Fermanagh and Western Reserve Division 3. Fivemiletown United Youth provides youth teams from U9 up to U18 and have also a mini soccer centre for 4 Year olds and up. The club's Youth teams play in the Brendan Keogh Youth League. Rhys McQuigg is the club's Brendan Keogh Youth League representative. Gary Robinson and Chris McDowell run the clubs Youth section & mini soccer centre. Long-term clubman Davy McQuigg is the clubs current chairman and has served in nearly every role in the club in over 30 years involved with the club. He was awarded a BEM (British Empire Medal) in January 2015 as part of the Queens New Years honours list for his services to youth football. The 2014/15 season was the clubs most successful season in the intermediate A section as new manager Jason Gillespie guided them to a 3rd place finish which is the clubs highest ever finish.However Gillespie resigned from his post the following season and the new man in charge and former White City manager Stewart Dobson was appointed to lead the club forward. ==Famous Players & Honours== Famous Players Roy Carroll - Northern Ireland and current Notts County goalkeeper Roy Carroll started his career with Fivemiletown United. The ex Manchester United keeper is undoubtably the towns most famous ex player. Roy's brother Ricki is a striker in the clubs firsts team. Dermott McCaffery- The ex Hibernian and Falkirk Defender began his career with Fivemiletown United before moving on to Dunbreen Rovers. He currently plays for Rochedale Rovers in Australia. His brother Shaun is part of the first team squad.
